Parent Pantry

You're in Good Company.

Families across Whidbey Island shop at the Parent Pantry—military spouses, new parents, longtime islanders, families of all kinds.

This is what community looks like. We share resources. We pass things along. We look out for each other.

Whether you're here for diapers, formula, a cozy jacket for your toddler, or to grab a cup of coffee—you're exactly where you belong.

Welcome In.

The early years are beautiful. They're also expensive, exhausting, and full of surprises (like realizing you're short diaper money until the next paycheck). Our Parent Pantry is here for those moments and everything in between. Set up like a cozy boutique, we're stocked with diapers, formula, wipes, clothing (preemie to 6T), shoes, books, baby essentials, and little goodies for caregivers too. Everything is free. No forms, no questions, just community caring for community.

How It Works.

Stop by during open hours. Look around. Take what you need. Come back whenever you'd like.

If you need something more urgently between shop hours, reach out to tasha@whidbeymothermentors.org—we'll do our best to help you out.

Our volunteers are here to help you find what you're looking for and maybe share a story or two. Many of them started as shoppers themselves before joining our team. That's the beauty of community—we all have something to give and something to receive.

The Parent Pantry runs on the generosity and heart of this island.

Every diaper donated. Every Saturday volunteered. Every gently-used snowsuit passed along. You're weaving the safety net that holds our families. You're building the village that every parent deserves.

We accept clean and gently used clothing and items during open pantry hours. Please ensure all items are washed and in good repair to provide the best shopping experience for families. We can no longer accept furniture, highchairs, or strollers. We truly appreciate your generosity! For these items, we recommend posting on your local Buy Nothing Facebook pages where they can find a direct home in the community.
